Senior Social Media Executive – Dubai

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular meetings with different stakeholders, represent the unit and collect requirements
  • Assign tasks to social media operation team, and follow up to ensure closure. Also report on efficiency and capacity
  • Develop & Implement workflows, guidelines, templates and evaluation criteria’s to enhance the social media unit operation
  • Build innovative, applicable and measurable social media marketing strategies for special campaigns
  • Create & evaluate unit’s targets and ensure they are met
  • Manage relationship’s with existing vendor/social media platforms and prospect new ones to ensure use of the best tools in the market
  • Propose new business cases to initiate within the unit
  • Conduct regular social media research & analysis for management review
  • Plan, and implement the social TV project , internal advocacy program
  • Develop and implement internal “Social Media Workshops” for stakeholders to advise on best industry social media practices
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 years of Digital/Social Media marketing experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication/Marketing/Journalism from a reputable University is preferable, however relevant work experience will be considered
  • Ability to effectively interpret creative ideas and requirements into executable social media strategies
  • Knowledge of social media listening tools and compiling social media reports
  • A strong communicator, highly motivated, extremely organized with an excellent eye for details
  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills
  • Strong know
  • ledge in MS Office (Excel, Power point)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Highly reliable and self-managed
  • Project management skills
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (reading and writing)
  • Experience with google analytics

Assistant Planner






Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a grid / plan for the assigned channel on a weekly/ monthly basis.
  • Insert all details accurately that are required to plan programs and check the information with the content.
  • Release weekly grids to the concerned departments once it’s approved, get their feedback.
  • Inform all relevant parties of any changes to the planned schedule when necessary.
  • Coordinate with production team and channel coordinators about deadlines to receive content.
  • Liaise with the Acquisition regarding the programs license and hold back dates.
  • Update acquisition list for programs and present accurate information on the list within the targeted deadline, highlighting any concern.
  • Assist in selecting appropriate programs for transmission.
  • Assess the impact of changes and schedule slippages.
  • Perform other tasks or duties as and when required.
Requirements:

Acquisition Editor


Responsibilities: 
  • To ensure high quality of content through technical editing.
  • To ensure the highest standard of content editing are maintained.
  • To deliver assigned tapes or files in a timely manner.
  • Edit all channels content (in house production, series, movies, programs, etc), changing content formats, compiling contents, creating content for 2nd runs, as per the Group / Channel guidelines or procedures.
  • Conduct a technical check on tape or files & revise the following:
- Time code
- Format
- Log sheets
- In & out
  • Follow procedures for the defined / systematic technical editing to ensure world class quality of content.
  • Provide recommendation about the cutting and technical editing alternatives.
  • Ensure that the content of tapes & files meet the correct technical specifications.
  • Manage equipment and identify faults, utilizing aspect ratio converters and standards converters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Editing or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in content and TV editing
  • Good technical knowledge of editing, understanding of media formats, and editing systems and graphics within each facility
  • Be able to solve technical problems, and know the topology of the edit suites.
  • Able to identify what is acceptable for which media and broadcaster and their different technical specifications.  Understand compression, and be able to utilize VT Recorders (VTRs) in normal and abnormal settings. 
  • Able to operate, patch and un-patch equipment, and must possess relevant computer skills in order to move media around the facility. 
  • Customer Orientation: Able to assert clients' needs and problems, and to identify appropriate solutions.
